27/6 - Weekly Movements (REITs and STI)

 Pretty "happening" week for S-REITs this time round, with Dasin Retail Tr continuing it's hemorrhage streak, and Keppel DC REIT grinding lower and lower, perhaps due to more competition in the DC REITs space.

This week, REITs saw a mix in volume/interest changes, while the prices generally appreciated, with most counters evenly distributed around the [-2%, +5%] range.

Sector Level:


This table shows the top 3 gains and drops in week-on-week volume, which can be considered as a proxy for general investor interest.

Apart from the above indicator for general interest, the below table looks as weekly price changes, which can be considered as a proxy for which counters investors find more favorable/attractive this week.

STI Components

For STI components, most of them recorded stable trading volume/interest week-on-week around the [-20, 20%] range, with a handful of outliers with 40-120% increases in volume. Prices showed no clear trend/bias, with most counters falling within the [-1, 1%] range.
